+New weapon level up system is unique and a welcomed change +Morale plays much more of a factor now if enemy morale is slow, your allies will advance more +The replay value, like with DW3, is off the charts +Great QoL improvements such as being able to pick up items from atop of a horse and making item crates bigger so they are easier to hit +The voice acting has improved dramatically from DW3 (Guan Yu has an excellent VA in DW4) +For the first time ever, we are given the option to create our own characters +Horse Harnesses are now a separate item class so they don't take up an item slot anymore +Pointless items have been removed and other items have been tweaked +The campaign is much longer than the previous entry and it is not as linear as before +The new duel mechanic is a great new addition +Unique and awesome music (arguably the best in the series) +The narrative has been further improved from DW3 +The AI is just as hard if not harder than in DW3+The three new characters are a great addition to the series and are designed very well+Rivalries during the campaign add some new depth to the gameplay +The game engine has been greatly improved from DW and FPS dips have been greatly minimized +The graphics have had a massive leap in quality both in-game and in cinematic cutscenes +With the tweaks and improvements to the combat system, combat has never been better
